Yoga increases mobility and flexibility.

Mobility is what our bodies can do without an outside force. Flexibility is what our body can do with an added force. Not only does yoga assist on one day touching our toes, it allows for our survival skills to increase by teaching our bodies to go from standing to sitting on the mat. Yoga’s asanas or postures provide increased shoulder, hamstring, and lower back flexibility.

Yoga helps lower blood pressure.

Genetics, nutrition, weight, and an exercise routine all are parts of the hypertension puzzle and is extremely common. Those with additional trauma, body dysmorphia, along with many other inflictions. Yoga has been studied to decrease mild to moderate high blood pressure in those utilized a regular practice.

Yoga reduces chronic neck pain and build healthy bones

Stretching, strengthening, and increasing circulation through the body by practicing yoga helps in curing/reducing chronic neck pain and spasms. Along with stretching and strengthening the spine comes strengthening bones, keeping osteoporosis away. Rehabilitation of knees, elbows, shoulders and other joints through asanas/postures supports the framework of our body. Allowing for the body to move smoother and acquiring more mobility.
